A few days ago I received news from my friend Realworld23 that one of the Communities on the Steemit platform was holding a contest “My Childhood Favorite Anime or Cartoon Character”, namely the Japansteemit Community. This time I will write about my favorite anime and my favorite character in the anime, the Anime title that I took is Black Clover.

Black Clover

Black Clover is a Japanese manga series written by Mr. Yuki Tabata, this manga was first adapted into an anime (original video) produced by Mr. Xebec Zwei in 2017 which aired in Japan on TV Tokyo in October 2017. This Black Clover tells the story of two young people who were abandoned in one of the churches located in Hage Village, namely ASTA and YUNO, they were raised by a nun who lived in the church named Sister Lily.

They find out about the “Magic King” the title given to the strongest mage in the Clover kingdom and they both promise to compete to become the Next Magic King. But as they grow up, a stark difference between them emerges. Which Yuno is able to use magic power with incredible control and he also got a Grimore 4 leaf clover at the age of 15 While Asta can't use magic at all and he still tries desperately to build his strength with physical training.

One day Yuno is attacked by someone named Lebuty, whose goal is to take Yuno's Grimore, when Yuno is no longer fighting back, Asta appears. Asta tries to fight him as best he can but he is unable to keep up. Then he finds the strength to continue the fight when he hears Yuno's voice, determined and unyielding to help Yuno, suddenly Asta's Grimore appears by itself. He gets a Grimore 5 leaf clover with the power of Demon Slayer and Grimore Asta takes out a Sword at the same time with this power Asta can defeat Lebuty. A few days later Asta and Yuno leave Hage Village for the Clover Kingdom to Enter a Competition to become a member of the Magic Knights Squad and Asta is elected to the Black Bull Squad while Yuno is selected to become a member of the Golden Dawn Squad.

Main Character / Character Favorite

The Main Character of this series is ASTA and this is also my Favorite Character in this series. The series focuses on a character named Asta, an orphan who was abandoned in front of the Hage village church by his mother. Asta grew up in a church with other orphans. Every human being is born with a magic ability called Mana. However, unlike Asta he was born without magic power (mana) that was not the reason for him to become the Magic King he kept trying by practicing physical strength until in the end he unwittingly got a Grimore 5 leaf clover with anti-magic power.

The Clover Kingdom is famous for its Magic Knight Army, the Clover Kingdom is led by King Augustus. The strongest magic knight at that time was Julius Novachrono. Asta really wants to be the next Magic King, that's why he takes part in the Magic Knight recruitment competition, during the competition he was laughed at by many people because he didn't have Mana. Then Asta is recruited by the Black Bull Squad led by Yami Sukehiro the reason Yami recruited him is because Asta managed to defeat Sekke with one sword slash.

The Black Bull squad welcomes Asta well, they get to know each other and in this squad Asta begins his adventure to become the Next Magic King by fighting an extremist group called Eyes of the Midnight Sun whose leadership is manipulated by the devil. Then Asta faces the Dark Triad who managed to control the Spade Kingdom led by Dante and managed to defeat him until in the end Asta was admired by other Magic Knights and he has also mastered the magic power of Anti Magic.

This series is my favorite anime from 2018 and just released season 1 with a total of 170 episodes and 324 chapter manga because the anime season 2 video has not been released so I followed it by reading the manga. For those of you who want to watch it, you can visit several anime-specific websites such as animeindo, otakudesu, oploverz, samehadaku, animekompon and others, and also for manga I often read it on the mangaku.com website.

From this series, we can also take positive things in the form of motivation from the main character named ASTA, who never gives up to achieve what he wants. We can use this as an example for each of our lives.
