My Favorite Song〜椿屋四重奏『紫陽花』〜

椿屋四重奏は2000年から2010年に活動していたロックバンドでヴォーカルの甘い歌声と斬新なメロディーが特徴。

こちらに挙げた『紫陽花』は彼らの中で、かなりヒットした曲であり私も大好きな一曲だ。

まず第一にヴォーカルである中田裕二さんの声が良すぎる。艶があり、低音のエッジが効いてる歌声は本当に聴き惚れる。

現在活躍しているバンドは数多くいるが、椿屋四重奏のような個性が光るバンドサウンドとヴォーカルのカリスマ性を兼ね揃えたバンドは、中々稀有だった。

中田裕二さんはソロ活動もしており、昨年はバンドとして期間限定で再始動したこともあるので、今後も活動を追っていきたい。

First of all, vocalist Yuji Nakata's voice is just too good. His singing voice is lustrous and has an edge to the bass, which is truly captivating.

There are many bands currently active, but it is rare to find a band like the Tsubakiya Quartet, which has both a unique band sound and charismatic vocals.

Yuji Nakata is also active as a solo artist, and last year he restarted as a band for a limited time, so I would like to follow his activities in the future.
