I don't need any sleep I will count my seashells to stay awake. He took the box with the shells he collected at a holiday in Spain. 1, 2, 3... Before he knew he selected colour, shape, size. Focus on something his teacher told him. Weird how he remembered the woman of long ago. if you focus you distract the mind. How many did he count? 1, 2, 3, 4,...17 groups in total.
Being shy isn't easy he managed. As a fireman there's no reason to talk. It's about fighting a fire not people, gesturing to those in need, carrying them out of the place. He didn't care about jumping out of a window. That suit protected him against all those hostile looks. The plus, it changed him into a hero.
