Today I made an unexpected stop at my favorite coin shoppe, right before they closed, to check out the bid board. I have a coin club meeting on Thursday, so I was looking for something to sell to my fellow numismatists. They were surprised to see me, and told me that I was their only customer today and they hadn't bought or sold a thing all day. The roads were empty and people must be staying inside due to the corona virus. After I bid on my items, David said he had a deal for me, he handed me this uncirculated 1889 Morgan Silver dollar from the Philadelphia mint and said it was half off today and since I was his only customer today, I could have it for $25! I couldn't get the money out of my pocket quick enough, I didn't want him to change his mine. This one won't be for sale on Thursday, as I'm putting it in my collection. Sometimes you just have to be at the right place, at the right time. Tomorrow I better check to see if we even have a coin club meeting! Stay safe my friends. 🙏
