Day-861-Freewrite Friday prompt toe jam
Below is my five minute #freewrite on today's prompt: toe jam

I know that most of my Freewrite readers know that I live in Texas, you they know it can get hot here in the summer. That's why I need to dress appropriately on those really hot days when I'm wearing light cotton shorts. I can't carry my usual firearm because it imprints and you can tell that I'm carrying, so I pull out my toe jammer and carry it in my front pocket. This little revolver has a handle about the size of my big toe, thus my name for it. As you can see in my photo, the little five shot .22 magnum cylinder is just a smidge larger that a silver dollar. It's definitely not my first weapon of choice for concealable carry, but it's safer to have this, than nothing during an altercation. My sister thinks it's cute and she wants me to get her one, but I don't think she would use it if need be, so she would have to take a gun safety class first before I'd consider it. Nice little revolver! I, too, need to take a firearms safety course. My hubby showed me the basics years ago, but I feel the need for a proper class.

Hah! I have a NAA .22 short version. Crazy how small the thing is, it fits in my change pocket of jeans! Totally better than nothing!
