Dead End!
I can't say which is worse, snot or boogers? My best friend dated a man years ago. When she first met him at work he was laying carpet for her current boss at a car dealership. She would talk to me about Booger and chuckle.
One of the things I love about my friend is she is that very outspoken and not afraid to say things as she sees them. She told Booger that he really should take care of that and that it's a rather unsightly vision.
Pretty soon she hired Booger to take care of the carpeting in her house because he was doing it for such a low rate. I can understand that and would take advantage of a good deal, too.
You can imagine my surprise when she called one day and told me that she was going out with this same gentleman, but now she was calling him by his first name. I asked her if he still had the booger problem.
She informed me that she had got him reformed and he was taking care of that issue. She also told me in the past that he had a little bit of drinking problem. That concerned me more than the boogers. Eventually she told me that they were going to get married. I warned her that once a drinker always a drinker and I worried about her.
Fast forward about 10 years and the drinking problem resurfaced and he added a drug problem to it, a bad one. He never went back to the booger issue, but they ended up divorced. Sometimes I think we should really reevaluate our criticisms in the beginning of a relationship and use them as I red lights to keep us from getting into more trouble.

Wow, that ending was unexpected.
Hi @kubbyelizabeth! Thank you for reading. I miss you.
I worked for a booze hound, then a coke head, for 10 consecutive years... ugh what a nightmare, wth didn't I bail on them way sooner!!
By the way, I've been animating a few of my crazy sci fi reviews...
Well, I understand that because my sister worked for a booze hound and pretty much did his job. What saved her is moving out of town when her husband had to get another job in West Palm beach. I'll be looking at those videos! Thanks for visiting. Its great to see you.
It's those little voices we DON'T listen to, especially the ones that are telling us not to indulge in an addictive substance. Cool story. No way I could get past a booger problem, no way. I wonder how he took care of that.
Lol my thoughts, too, but he did clean that up. Thanks for reading and commenting.
We always think we can iron out the little wrinkles that make them slightly imperfect, that all they need is the love of a good woman. How wrong we are.

That's true. As long as I remember myself I was absent-minded and no amount of love and care is going to change it. )
I'm sure your fine sense of humour more than makes up for any other
little faults you might have;)
Thank you! I am not Irish about it. )
