It is good to have a Methuselah around. We only have women doing it. I remember one living on a boat with cats in Amsterdam and one lived in my neighbourhood. They said they sold the cats. Their fur was used and probably were eaten. Cats been sold and eaten, or disappeared and be eaten... that story lived till about 30 years ago.
In those days there weren't as many cats on the streets as these days and the increasing amount of rats neither.
