I rarely use an umbrella if there's wind it's pointless. We cannot always stay home on stormy days life comes with obligations and there are periods with more stormy days and staying in bed is not the solution.

I can't recall the last time I was ill, had the flu, low temps and bad circumstances plus dsily ventilating ( nights) might be the solution.. 🤔

So is a rain suit..
A shiny day and safe shelter for those stormy days (or bed and sleep till the weather changed).

A goal is a goal but 98% is not motivated enough to go for it, make sacrifices and go through the storm. If there is a risk we give up on forehand or we rather talk and complain. (see the freewriters for the contest out of the box risk
