Background
Check it or let it be? I mean someone's background. Some employers do it, the government does and in some cases neighbours or the wealthy do. You never know if the one you like to hire or embrace can be trusted right?
I rarely check someone's background. I wrote with inmates for many years and decided not to find out everything about their lives. To me, there's no need to. I never asked about the how or what either. A person's private life or past is not any of my business. It's up to them what they like to share if they lie or speak the truth. I will not ask for it, question it. It's not because curiosity kills the get but because I am not the type of person who likes to know everything. What counts for me is how someone treats me and his attitude. A background check can be helpful for some, in certain situations but it never tells the complete story. If you ask me it's wiser to trust your instinct. We know when a person brags and we recognize a liar and untrustworthy person too even if it looks as if there's no proof.

Creo firmemente en el poder restaurador de Dios en las personas pero me aseguro de cuidar de a quien doy mi confianza, porque también soy responsable de una familia. Pero considero que se debe ser muy prudente para no dejarse influenciar por los antecedentes de alguien ,
Your own safety comes first. That's why your instinct is important. That instinct and common sense will protect you and those you are responsible for.
Emotions will not. They blind us. Thanks for reading and commenting. Enjoy your weekend.
