A Lesson To Be learned
December 2024, we made it, we as in you the reader and everyone still alive. Was there a lesson to be learned?
I posted nearly every day and if not with this account with one of my others and it's strange how long it takes to write, post and upvote all those I liked to give an upvote. Did it benefit me? Perhaps I should ask myself if that's the case and if I am honest i think the answer is no (can be I have a different opinion if you ask me tomorrow or at the end of the month or the first week in January but for now it's a no.
I noticed some things I don't like and I wrote about it and I also noticed that if issues are mentioned it's hard to find someone willing to reply. It's why I started the community SCB Monkey Busines (@hive-152479) to give information to those who might need it or wonder.
The result is that I do most of the work alone because all those who were enthusiastic have "better things to do". That's how it works on this platform but also in real life. Like we say: you have workhorses and show horses meaning the show horse is just for the show or better to show off with (the one that will get a shot through the head if it's useless).
The cat had its second infusion this morning and hasn't eaten since 6 days. No way he likes the bought-for ridiculous expensive prize-vet food where there is printed on it that it has a great taste ( it makes the cat gag, cats aren't like dogs). By now we all have a huge lack of sleep and it's a good thing my son is home (a student's life at university is the most lazy life one can have. I doubt he learned anything. Like he says: since I visited school I get more stupid year after year).
If it comes to Steemit I became a lot wiser and learned more than expected. Many Steemians I knew left but a few old friends returned and in between I met some others to which I hope to give a bit more attention. Our ways might separate but that's fine since it's not strange that the more familiar we are with Steemit the easier we find a circle of like-minded to write and talk to .
I still think what to do with my SP I'll decide at the end of this month.

Lol… I have a feeling he must have gotten his sense of humor from you!! You can introduce him on Steemit, while he goes to school.
I hope you don’t intend running away… cos you are one of the few steemians that makes steemit fun for me.

As I understood yesterday it's normal to leave and many get a burn out here. If you ask me that doesn't sound good. I have no intention to leave yet but will change some things.
Thank you for having fun with me or is it aboit me? 🤣
Anyway the cat is still alive andproved there's no reason to eat for a week so I will have more sleep than 3 hours this night 😁
@rokhani is finally back so if he doesn't ran out of me we can party again.
@cicisaja likes fun too 🍀♥️

as far as I know cats are more independent animals than dogs. Dogs tend to depend on their owners because of their loyalty. Dogs can't survive if they only feed on special dog food all their lives and never know how to pounce on chickens and hunt two birds freely. This dependency makes the dog less able to survive. different from cats whose survival instincts are better. He will defend his existence and life in a wild way. Cats can be sweet when they are around us and cats can seem obedient. However, don't think, cats will be able to survive even if we don't feed them for a long time. Cats will hunt on their own and look for a source of life without depending on the owner. he can catch mice, grasshoppers, lizards, even birds in the wild to survive. Thank you for welcoming me who seemed to have disappeared for a long time @wakeupkitty

This cat lives inside so he cannot hunt and he never did.
The wolves might kill him with their clumsyness. Dogs survive here on the countryside. If nit hares or birds there are hedgehidges and rhe sheep stable is nearby. I believe it's the place the dachsund goes out for an extra dinner. 🤣
I mentioned you so many times. It's hard to forget you. I hope you are fine.
♥️🍀
yes I see Here, in fact, there are more people who can live outside of cats. stray dogs are very rare. The owner will put it in the house so it is a bit different from where you are. by the way, I know as if I just disappeared. I haven't touched Steemit for a long time and communicated with you. I also believe that in this community I can feel the warmth of the welcome from all my friends.
Words of comfort.
Dogs can survive and cats
They can be loyal, behave like dogs and get back wild if set out though some never learned how to hunt and die.
🍀♥️
The problem of survival is the ability possessed by every living creature. especially if animals like dogs and cats are in an environment where they are not pampered and have to fight for themselves to get food and how to survive they can certainly live better. Maybe it's just a myth that cats have more than one life or we are influenced by fictional films about cats. In our area, there are even those who think that black male cats have the power to knock lizards off walls just by looking at them.
Thank you for supporting me.

I think Steemit is a long term business that is why people who keep their activity going with a certain speed otherwise one can have burn out. It is a place for relax, enjoy writing or reading, but it is not a place to replace our fmaily, friends and our life. People are active for some time and take some time off and this is normal. Many return and only minority leave completely, so it is constant change here.

It is interesting you see it as a long term business. I don't see it that way and never did. To me it's social media and one I happen to like more than those most famous ones making me feel uncomfortable. I don't like to share my entire life on Facebook, TikTok or wherever I go and that right of being anomynous was the power of Steemit. That changed for many by forcing them to show themselves with introduction posts and contests. The EU has a law against this and warns not to show pictures with children or share photos without permission but here people are forced or do so freely.
I wonder about that business.
I agree that a burnout is not far away if you live under constant pressure of a platform/social media and this is unhealthy, abnormal.
On the other hand it seems to be the only way if you want to be noticed or "liked". Not that I believe it helps to tiptoe around and do your stinking best.
Those who are liked will always be liked no matter if they steal the key, robb the bank and lie at one piece while others are broken to the ground for no reason. Steemit is a good copy of real life.
I must say there's way more to learn than on an average platform but if you want to relax it's better to go your own way and enjoy what you do even if this means you are alone (it's how most Europeanspost and survive here. They are not liked. ).
Thanks for the great comment @stef1 you gave me some things to think and puzzle about.
A great day to you!

Think no more you can delegate it to me ,I will help you use it in supporting more users.
I had a look at whom you are voting for but I don't believe these are the people I won't to give my vote to. It's not about voting for more people but for giving a good reward to those I believe deserve and might need it to stay here and keep sharing their creativity.
It looks as if you are a strategic voter.
I will be glad to join you in voting those creative bloggers because I believe in originality and creativity. Let's do it together if you don't mind.

I've been writing a lot. About two or three hours a day and I'm currently topping out at about 25000 words. Most of it is bullshit and never will amount to anything, but I'm writing none the less. That other thing was me realizing it doesn't hurt to do something on the side. The results are also questionable, but hey.

Thank you!
I know on whose door to knock if I need something. Like before my journey was not very intense. I posted in a few communities by now 3 left? No idea yet what 2025 will look like. You received the alarm signal? Sounds like no online payments, no cash and no crypto and an organized bank run. A happy New Year!
