CONTEST: A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words - 7/9/2021

Contest A picture is worth a thousand words

Describe what you see

I see a metal fence with barbed wire on top and a little black bird perched on the smooth horizontal wire, in the background a beautiful peach colored sunset.

Describe what you feel

I feel that the landscape although beautiful cannot be fully appreciated, because the wire fence is an obstacle that spoils the landscape, it is a real shame that it is necessary to put up fences.

Write a story or poem about what you think is happening.

On the other side of the fence is an open sky full of light and color, where birds fly freely, birds passing by land on the fence to rest, then set off again on their journey that will take them to another place, perhaps with different fences or perhaps with none to get in the way.

On this side of the fence we are with the need to raise them for security in businesses, farms and homes for the good of mankind.

When did fences start? I don't know but how nice it is to imagine a world without the need for fences.
