Antennas are shaped in many forms. Why do we today have to discriminate them all and only think about the vertical ones? Because, I only have 5 min to give an opinion and should not bring to much ideas at once.

Vertical is nice, gives us and idea on how high can we build structures. It is interesting that these antennas can be very thin and still manage to stay straight. Despite the strong winds at high altitudes.

But, who cares? These vertical antennas are so thin, that they rarely block the view. Your brain can get rid of them when looking at the scenery.

Are these antennas better for receiving or for broadcasting?
