The theme of the new start of the school year causes a lot of stress and travel on the part of parents, who at school deliver such an extensive list they must do magic to be able to make ends meet and cover as much as they can of that list. Other parents and representatives cannot afford to buy everything, so they are left with buying the most important items such as notebooks, pencils, pencil erasers, pencil sharpeners, and test papers. Colors and markers may be necessary, but not essential, and I think the same goes for reams of paper, when they can be made from test papers.

The list is usually large and long, and perhaps one week is not enough to acquire all the essentials. Some schools offer the uniforms, others simply let the parents buy where they want, but following the guidelines, because the shirts and flannels must be of a certain fabric and the embroidery of the logo on another, not where the parent wants or the color they want. Although I don't know how they handle that now, but they used to be very strict about it.

What I never understood about the school list is that not everything they ask for is used, and the worst thing is that the teachers assure you 100% that, if it is going to be used, then they make the parents spend the money for nothing. Today I saw a list where a child in kindergarten was sent a large container of silicone, per child, how much will these children use when they ask for a large cylinder per head, a ream per child, and endless supplies that will be left over and that every year they ask for, could it be that the teachers take part of these supplies to complete their children's?

We have to raise awareness on the issue, because they spend unnecessary money, and the worst thing is that they also know why they have to use them, let's imagine that in a classroom there will be 20 children and each one has to carry a ream of 500 sheets, what are those children going to do with 10,000 sheets in half a year or less. And so it happens with some school supplies, which are useful for some activities, but they are not going to be completely consumed.
