greatest trials are not those that bring us down, but those that allow us to discover who we really are
Indeed trials we face in life exhibit some traits in us we never knew existed. I see it as our survival instinct.
We have to soar high like the eagle above every challenges to stay at the top. the more we fight, the more the obstacles and challenges become so easy as time passes by.
You're absolutely right, and if your soul is wrapped in a pearl, beware of thieving magpies.
