The idea is for the poets of Steem to produce a running work of related poems.
Here are the rules:

• add a stanza of maximum forty words and make a post
• your post should contain all previous submissions in the order they were submitted, with yours last. I will number them as they come in.
• leave a link to your post here.

A tear in the fabric
of the space time construct
Something leaks through
Something that should not be
Changes the world
Everything we hold dear
shaken to its core
Nothing sacred everything leaky

is unbecoming,
holding on against the tide
that breaks all things
against the rocks
