| A Story OF An Old Lady | A Short Love Story |
Once there was an old lady she visited a museum every day. She spent hours staring at a painting. the painting was of a young beautiful woman, it was painted by the famous artist Frank Doris! For year the old lady came to the museum every single day. She worn torn clothes and had dirty shoes. She just came to the museum and stared continuously at the painting. The visitors and security guards felt disgusted by the lady's presence but they couldn't do anything about it. Because the museum was a charitable organization, and kicking out a poor lady would be bad for its reputation. However, every one avoided the old lady at the museum.
One day a billionaire came to the museum. He was interested in buying some paintings, that's when the billionaire noticed the old lady. The billionaire asked a guard, " Who is this lady ", the guard replied, "Ignore her, Sir! She is mad!", "She comes here just to stare at this painting everyday". "If you want we can kick her out." The billionaire said, "No, that won't be necessary." The billionaire was not disgusted by the old lady's appearance. Instead, he was curious. He went to old lady and asked, " Ma'am! If you Don't mind me asking..... Can you tell me why you stare at this painting every day?" The old lady replied, "Do you know the story behind this painting?"
The billionaire replied, "Yes! it was painted by the famous artist Frank Doris." But I don't know the exact story behind it. It was his last painting I heard. The old lady replied, " Frank Doris was not always famous". His painting were never appreciated when he was alive" he sold his painting for cents on road, but rarely managed to sell them. The girl in the painting she was the love of frank' life. But the girl was from a rich family. Frank fell in love with the girl while drawing this portrait of her, the two become good friends soon, Frank Proposed the girl one day, the girl loved frank too......
But she didn't marry frank because her family didn't accept the relation. Frank lost the love of her life. He stopped eating and drinking. He kept drawing portraits of the same girl again and again. He just couldn't forget his love. Sadly Frank passed away due to his unhealthy lifestyle. The girl had returned in frank's life during his last days. But Frank couldn't be saved, the girl however stayed with frank during his last days. she left everything she had to be with frank. But how cruel nature is "Frank passed away in her arms" but the girl was not alone. She was pregnant with frank's child. Life wasn't easy for her as single mother. She had to sell frank's paintings one by one. "This painting was sold by her for 20 cents only. Because she needed money to buy food for her child, tears streamed down from the old lady eyes as she finished the story. The billionaire couldn't stopped his tears too. He asked It is very touching story!!!!!
But I still can't understand "why do you come to look at this painting every day. The old lady smiled and replied, who do you think the girl in the painting is? The old lady walked away with a smile on her face. The billionaire was left shocked, he looked at the old lady's hand. She had the same ring that the girl had in the painting.
She wasn't lying, the billionaire bought the painting for $3 Million. he gave the painting to the old lady. because he felt, the lady deserved to have the painting with her. he even gave some money to her so that she could rent a place and live rest of her life in peace.
