As a writer i would like to do the daily-prompt challenge so Today prompt MISSED APPOINTMENT in the #freewriters community. here is my input for the contest:
Story: A Hair-Raising Appointment Mishap"

Jenny was once feeling pretty thrilled with herself as she walked into the salon for her long-awaited hair appointment. She had been searching ahead to this day for weeks and had made certain to time table the appointment in the course of her lunch break, so as now not to omit any work.As she sat in the stylist's chair, chatting away about the modern movie star gossip, Jenny all of sudden realized some thing horrifying. She had ignored an essential name from her boss, who used to be probable thinking the place she was. Panic set in as she realized that she had absolutely forgotten about an necessary assembly that used to be going on proper at that moment.
Jenny frantically dug thru her purse, looking out for her telephone to name her boss, however to no avail. Meanwhile, her stylist was once busy trimming away at her hair, totally oblivious to the chaos going on round her.
Finally, after what felt like hours, Jenny managed to get via to her boss and give an explanation for the situation. To her relief, her boss laughed it off and informed her no longer to fear about it.
But as Jenny left the salon, she could not assist however sense a little bit stupid about lacking such an vital appointment – all for the sake of a true hair day.

Jenny estaba encantada consigo misma cuando entró en la peluquería para su esperada cita. Llevaba semanas deseando que llegara ese día y se había asegurado de concertar la cita durante la hora de la comida para no faltar al trabajo.Sentada en la silla del estilista, charlando sobre los últimos cotilleos de las estrellas de cine, Jenny se dio cuenta de repente de algo espantoso. Había ignorado una indicación esencial de su jefe, que probablemente estaba pensando dónde se encontraba. El pánico se apoderó de ella al darse cuenta de que se había olvidado por completo de una asamblea necesaria que se estaba celebrando justo en ese momento.
Jenny rebuscó frenéticamente en su bolso, buscando su teléfono para llamar a su jefe, pero fue en vano. Mientras tanto, su estilista estaba ocupada recortándole el pelo, totalmente ajena al caos que reinaba a su alrededor.
Por fin, después de horas, Jenny consigue hablar con su jefe y explicarle la situación. Para su alivio, la jefa se rió y le dijo que no tuviera miedo.
Pero cuando Jenny salió de la peluquería, no pudo evitar sentirse un poco estúpida por haber faltado a una cita tan importante, y todo por un día de peluquería.
