CONTEST: A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words - 10/08/2021

I gather a religious person might assume that this girl is on some sort of a heavenly body.

To me, this picture shows something that people usually dream about. In the dream, the girl is standing on a slick glassy surface of a sphere. A wind blows, shifting the bottom of her dress to the side and it looks like she's about to lose her footing and fall, which would be the most unfortunate as the sphere has a radius of curvature of approximately 27 feet, and the girl most likely would fall off it.

Although this isn't a very clear picture, as I cannot see the face of a girl, she doesn't seem to be frightened by this observation. Perhaps she doesn't feel any weight in her body and, while surrounded by the clouds, she might think she could just float.

If I were to interpret this dread as the reflection of the girl's subconscious, I'd say that she was cushioned iun her life by her parents and other relatives, but now she is about to step into a new direction, from which she's not so sure what to expect. Maybe in her real life, she's about to go to college, where for the first time in her life she will live in the dorm. It is both exciting and worrisome.
