Simple Living High Thinking... doesn't mean

in Freewriterslast month (edited)

In conversation with a friend the other day it came up how bored they were.
Everyday the same thing.
Go to work.

I thought, "Yes that can be very boring."

But now I am looking more closely at what the benefits are of a routine day:

  1. It's not necessary to put a lot of thought and energy into arranging and rearranging.
    Functioning externally as if automatic.

  2. Leaves room for high thinking.
Kind of like the meaning to "simple living and high thinking."
The simple living part doesn't mean without running water.
It means a simple daily schedule.

I see. Not so simple. And big responsibility. My friend who was feeling bored works in a tea shop waiting on customers. For a little while I sold flowers on a street corner. That was simple! I had plenty of time to think so many things. The work itself required practically no effort.
