Freewrite Prompt: Test Result

The long awaited test result was finally out and it was negative. We were very overjoyed. This hapoened in the heat of the corona virus outbreak in 2020. My cousin who is a banker came down with severe cold and he was isolated at home only the wife attended to him for a period of two weeks and for that period, the children were all restricted access to him. Everyone one was scared that he was down with Covid-19 but after the two weeks isolation period and tests, it was confirmed to be just cold and nothing more. Our joy knew no bounds and we thanked God immensely that it was nothing more than that. But looking back at the scare that gave us, it's all very funny.
