Freewrite Prompt: Street Sweeper
Last weekend was a joyful and memorable one for the street sweeper assigned to my estate. Joseph, the street sweeper would always be seen early in the morning going about his duties diligently. Even when it rains, he takes his time to properly clean the street unlike his colleagues who always have reasons not to show up to work. Members of the estate joticed his diligence and decided to surprise him. While he was cleaning up his equipments, members of my estate led by the chairman, my father, walked up to him yo thank him for his efforts in ensuring the neatness of the compound. He was given food stuffs and beverages and a monetary sum too as a means of appreciation for his diligence. He was overjoyed and speechless and moved to tears. Diligence actually never goes unnoticed and unrewarded.
