Freewrite Prompt: Storyteller

Growing up as kids, story time was something I enjoyed alot and I know I speak not just for myself. Personally, I feel storytelling is more technical than we make it seem. It's a skill that is developed overtime and earns one the right to be known as a full fledged storyteller. Being a good storyteller involves telling or narrating a story in a manner that captures the listeners' interests and leave them curious to know what next. It involves making people feel the story come alive from the manner in which you tell it. It indeed is a skill that can be perfected overtime. This and more are the characters possessed by the scriptwriter Kemi Adetiba for an excellent piece she wrote and directed 'King of Boys and Return of the King'. These movies are indeed masterpieces. They'll leave one glued to his seat anxious to see the end of the story line. That is an example of a great storyteller.
