Freewrite Prompt: Spade

"Daddy, call a spade a spade!" That was what my sister yelled at our father. She could no longer tolerate dad always siding our older brother not minding if he's the one at fault. She was fed up and had to let dad know that he ought to say thijgs the way they are. Most times I feel dad sides him because he's our elder or perhaps because he's been the one shouldering the family responsibilities for a while now. But whatever may be dad's reason, he should realise that we his other children are not happy about it. He should say things the way they are and let anyone know when they are wrong no matter who is involved or what's involved.
