Ever heard of how we are not totally free from our past lives even though we have changed our ways. My dad always said rhat we should be careful how we live that not only that we may not be able to correct some of our mistakes, they may come back to harm our future. This was the case of Raymond. He used to be known for his wild ways and has had several cases with the police and other individuals in our local community. Finally he turned a new leaf and we were all excited when we saw real change. Last month, Raymond won a visa lottery to Canada. We were all happy for him. Finally he had a chance at a better life. But unfortunately, when a background check was carried out on him by the authorities, he was disqualified as a result of the findings of the background check. He was truly devastated and wished he had not done the things he did.
