I read a Freewrite by @felixgarciap that took me back to my younger days. Our family dog was so untrainable my dad bet me that I couldn't train him. I took his challenge serious and set off to train our dog. He wouldn't fetch and he growled when you looked at his food the wrong way. I finally got him to shake paws, then stopped after he took a bite out of my arm. Felix's Freewrite is better than my story, go read it. 🙏

Thankyou very much for your reccomend @wonderworp

My recommendations for this week.
I wonder how many of you date online.
@wandrnrose7 wrote a freewrite about her experiences and gives some tips to make it possible to escape out of an impossible situation. If they will help and if online dating is a bigger disaster as meeting the "real" person you can read in Dating Hazards.
She used the prompt "crazy eyes" and is my first recommendation.
It is all about a long, white beard.
At least the prompt used is. Marvin is clearly not in a good mood. His mean look proves it and he might have a good reason for it. If people do not like to have you around what would you do? Get drunk or... turn away?
@felt.buzz, my second recommendation, can tell you all about it if you read his entertaining short story "a long white beard" a five minute freewrite.
I really enjoyed this one. Another freewrite with the prompt "long, white beard".
He lived his life surrounded by over 50 cats. He fed them on his account and they clearly loved him. The kittens even played through his beard. What do you do, as a town, with a person who keeps so many cats? The church did something and after that he never showed up in town again.
The Man Methuselah is written by @wandrnrose7.

This week I really liked a freewrite from @owasco about envy. Your free writing reveals an all too obvious and sickly human condition. You can't hide this trait no matter how you disguise it. It reveals a cowardly soul that hides its own limitations and fears in the supposed failures of others. The good news is that if there is good self-esteem and clarity of purpose, envy does not creep in, but rather becomes a stepping stone for the envied, who, if not intimidated, comes out stronger.

I recommend the article from @wakeupkitty "Crazy" in which it describes the relationship that our eyes have with our soul and our life.
Thank you very much but you have to write 50 words at least.
Still thanks. 😁💕
Our lady is not a bureaucrat! #GottaLove@Mariannewest!
Hardly anyone writes 50 words with these nominations. They all go unpunished. 😁💕
@freewritehouse I count my words each time. Does this make me the "hardly anyone"?🤔
I reccomend to you all @dook13 for his prompt on bonus because I couldn't agree more with how the magical world of Steemit changed me from a "make a few dollars writing" to "I see my potential as a writer/creative is far underdeveloped and I want more. Why? The people! Read on for @dook13 take on it.
There were so many fine freewrites this week that it was hard to choose but this one one by mgaft1 gave me a laugh, and we can all do with one of those. In a clever and engaging little tale, he answers the age-old question of why the chicken crossed the road. Of course, as usual he has taken the diabolic liberty of using only the first prompt of the weekend challenge and ignoring the other 2:)
Whoa.... 10 SBI "as a very small thank you for bringing us the weekly Freewrite Favorites"--? THANK YOU, and I will donate it for the next contest!!!
I came here to nominate @owasco's "Envy" and @worldbuilder's "Crazy Eyes," but others beat me to it. So.... @byn's "Soul Mate" may be near its expiration date, but most of us care about readers than upvotes, no? Post-Hardfork, our upvotes have tanked anyway (mine sank to one cent).
Who said five-minute freewrites are never worth reading?
Never mind that.
We know better!
@byn's weekend freewrite is awesome--even if you can't upvote it (and again, most of us have dust votes anyway), you won't be wasting minutes of your life by reading this. (And, yes, I have stronger praise than that to offer!)
I love @byn and all our freewriters!

I looked in the "Crazy Eyes" prompt this week to find some favs and it was very easy! I did not get far before finding these three:
@felt.buzz has a tale of an "old bird" scared by a cat with crazy eyes she thinks wants to kill her. I so relate!
https://steempeak.com/hive-161155/@felt.buzz/crazy-eyes-a-five-minute-freewrite
We get a science lesson from @redheadpei, who tells us about various biological eye conditions that might be seen as crazy. Very interesting information here.
https://steempeak.com/hive-161155/@redheadpei/i-spy-with-my-little-eye
And @myjob had a crazy eyed chicken who loved her husband and hated her. I love reading @myjob's posts!
https://steempeak.com/hive-161155/@myjob/day-836-5-minute-freewrite-monday-prompt-crazy-eyes
I enjoyed these two weekend freewrites. I think they're worth visiting and reading..
Escape! (Weekend Freewrite) by @byn
Are you in the mood for a bit of thriller/suspense story? This one's really a good read for me. I do wonder what happens to the main character. It would be great to read more of this.
Survivors | A WeekEndFreeWrite by @hlezama
A really good apocalyptic setting here. Nice suspense build up too. Kinda scary with the coronavirus situation at present moment.
Hi @freewritehouse! Thank you, thank you for the SBI but it was sent to @marbely. Will SBI return your STEEM? I think there is no @marbely.
My favourite this week comes from @wonderwop with his freewrite to the prompt "snot": https://steemit.com/hive-114105/@wonderwop/day-837-freewrite-tuesday-prompt-snot
who wrote about his cat Snickers and the cat is allergic to cats. The poor kitty has been sneezing since the day he was adopted. I can just feel the love @wonderwop has for Snickers, even when Snickers tagged him with his snot :)
Thank you @marblely 💕
