Today, I've decided I'd post my entry as a comment.

I have a gambling problem. It is a very heavy addiction. It all started with online casinos, but it spread like wildfire. The next thing I know, I'm betting against my friends on every little thing. Being unemployed doesn't help. The little I've ever had has long been lost. Up until tomorrow, that is. That's when things will finally change. Because I won't bet anymore. If you don't believe me, I'll prove it to you, just meet me on 7th Street.

You might be asking yourself how I'm going to get cured just like that, in a snap of fingers. But it's obvious, isn't it? I've gambled away throughout all my life. So how does one get better? What sacrifice needs to be made? Well, it is really simple. Tomorrow, at the horse race, I will win. And then it will all come together. I will stop gambling. One of my friends told me that race is arranged, so it'll be fine. I'll be fine. I promise.

No, you don't have to worry about me anymore. Just be there. It's like how you've told me the other day: things will end well for as long as I have faith. And it's never been stronger.
