Where's the hostess?

"Where is she? Have you seen her? Weird. She should have showed up by now. That's not like her."

No one knew where the party's hostess was. She may have an eccentric personality, but her widely known punctuality never failed. If she couldn't attend to her own party in time, then surely something terrible must have happened to her. The crowd felt unease.

If there was one thing they knew for sure, is that the show must go on. That's whey they kept about their business, getting social despite all gossip. Cake time was upon them, and it was huge! Everyone smiled as the hostess' husband cut the cake, even though he looked nervous.

As he sliced, his wife emerged from the cake in a big, surprising act! Her smile quickly turned into a painful expression though, because she accidentally cut herself on the knife. She laughed it off. Not only very eccentric, but a real klutz too!
