THE FIRST BILL
I remember the story a friend told me about his first hard earned money. He was working in a restaurant, his boss would did not like much, he was simply employed based on a referral from a close friend of the boss. He did most of the hard work, he was considered as a fresher, so his colleagues laud this on him, not to mention the fact that he was the youngest of them all. The main emphasis of my story is in the fact that he earned much more than his salary from errands sent to punish him and to show him a sense of superiority, i guess he turned things around.
Before he received his first pay, he had gathered much more than he was expecting and this grew even better. When sent on an errand, he used his bike for transportation and saved off the fare given to him. He had a free spirit that made people get along with him, he infected the customers with his charms and in no time they loved his services and gave him more than what we can call a tip. As time went by, he was the man customers request for and this led to an increase in both his income and that of the restaurant. His boss later grew to love him and appreciate him for his hard work.
Passion and results always pay in the end no matter how long the process takes.
