Requirement
Most times we encourage and carry out a custom so long that the essence of that heritage is lost, when you ask why these things are done, the response would be like this, 'oh, that has been the way it has been. We have been during for a while, it was passed down for generations.' As much as it is good and objective to maintain and sustain an heritage, to know the essence and the reason why it was initiated is important, it helps in having a good view to what you are doing, it gives you a sense of purpose instead of just carrying out a usual ritual.
The requirement we give most times are not necessary, we just pass down what was passed down to us, giving people more problem than they should bear. Sometimes, this can be exhausting. I speak from my heart. Let's make the world a better place by solving one problem at a time, let us start with this.
