When I was a kid, wooden dolls were for losers. No one really made use of it, except maybe in secret. But now, I'm not so sure anymore but with the level of sophistication and technology, I doubt if wooden doll is a thing in this present age. Although, looking at the concept behind the doll, it is intimate and original. One can say each character is carved for a particular reason, specifically for something. The wooden doll has always been symbolic of something else, another form of sculpture. A wooden doll like Pinocchio are carefully carved.
