An insulation is a preventative measure taken to protect something, so the materials used to protect are insulated. The concept is pretty straight forward, but most of the time, there are usually complications. There can be a breach or better still the materials used might not be able to do the job adequately. I heard about insulation from the movies I see, it is a bonus for me. At least, I've seen it firsthand.
