The adjectives attached to this cottage is something to look at because it has no significant effect on the house, except for the fact that it is an old house. We all get to choose the color of our houses amongst other based on our opinion, this is the same decision. A cottage is not a fancy place, and it is usually located in a secluded place, maybe close to a farm or something. So, it will serve as a resident for the workers there. It is an advantage to have a free accommodation close to where you work.
