I thought the surgery window was a surgical term referring to a part of the operation or somewhere in the human body. But I guess it is just the window of a surgical room. Although, I know for sure that not all surgical rooms have a window, there are others without a window. I think it is according to the case of the patient, whether it is critical or not. I am not an expert, so I cannot say if these things are essential to the surgery.
