Whe reading the story of the children of Isreal in the bible, talking about the wilderness, I couldn't really picture what it meant by wilderness and how dangerous it can be. I think the major emphasis is on the emptiness of the wilderness, nothing tangible can be found there. Wilderness is not a good placed to be trapped in, no wonder the folks then we're full of complain.
