In the recent federal budget of 2020-21, the government has designated RS. 83.363 billion for the education sector. This was an improvement as compared to last year, last year the government has designated RS. 82 billion. New government, PTI is committed to reform education system of Pakistan. Because its traditional education system, emphasizes on memorizing rather than clarity of concepts. Teachers should teach students by utilizing modern technology and prepare them for industrial needs.
In the world of changing political, economic, and cultural topology, education models should be reformed to prepare students for sustainable and inclusive future. Currently, in broader perspective, the world is moving toward Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Blockchain, and workspace transformation. Because technological advancement prompts economic progress and improve the quality of life. Therefore, the aim of education should be getting knowledge and invention rather than memorizing.
The reality of Pakistan's education system is that it is disconnected from the economic world war, international millennial realities and social needs of people. They use passive techniques of learning with an emphasis on memorizing, due to which the young generation lacks skills of creative and critical thinking. Moreover, 22.8 million children are out of school between the ages of 5 to 16. The reason is less access to quality education. The government’s teachers are not given any proper training. Thus al these problems have put back the education of Pakistan
