RE: Beyond any limits - A story freewrite
That caught my eye too - and Everything that is intense must be ephemeral - now I'm wondering how many philosophers have explored that. I love the dialogue:
"Love as you are, forgive your body with its illness, and the miracle of fulfillment will be given to you for as long as it takes to be happy."
"Do you really believe that?" mused Germán in a muffled little voice, with a thread of hope wrapped around it.
It's hard to put yourself in the shoes of someone with a terminal illness. I imagine that their mental processes are always directed towards the ephemeral, towards whether it is worthwhile or not, because of the short time they think or feel they have.
Thank you for your kindness and accompaniment, appreciated @carolkean.
