Forever asleep

Lone on the house of stones
So far away from home
Brave and dear male pride
Goes for a long way walk
Moving without stepping
Running from home
Sitting in the sun and
Smiling in turn
His horns glimmer and thrive
Just a day from home

He sees and hears birds cry and creak and crawl and roam
He watches different soils , matching his sole
Adventure, advancement, curious embracement
This is his only reproach
He marches on every morning
So far from home
Wondering and searching
For any that looks close to home

Sooner he dies of hunger
With no traces of home
Then there and now he knows;
His kids would do better at home
As he closes his eyes , the last close indeed,
Gazing the evening dusk go by
He can only remember
The ones he left at home
