Friday Prompt: Pregnant
And so it began, Charlie the Cat was pregnant. She knew it was a mistake the moment she met that handsome stray, luring her with his wicked ways. She knew she would never see him again. She knew that knowing he was a father would mean nothing to him. He was more interested in his masters Marvel comics and Star Wars Light Saber. He was a sucker for anything with a light on it. Following here, there and everywhere. That is no use to a new mother. How could she go home now, knowing the truth and what it meant for her life with Ingrid. Ingrid was always good to her but that was when it was just her. Things would be different now. 3's a crowd and that is assuming that there is only 1 kitten and we all know that would not be the case.
The thought of losing another litter was too much for Charlie to take. She had had 4 kittens before, they would be grown cats now with families of their own. Oh Charlie. What have you done?
Charlie saulked home to Ingrid wondering what would happen now. She had met many other kind souls who had fed her milk and their leftover spaghetti but would they take her in? Would they take pity on a mother cat with a new litter if she sat, purring on their doorstep . Or would she be
