따스한 봄날과 함께하는 보사노바, Wave
오늘의 포스트는 브라질리언 음악의 대가 Antonio Carlos Jobim의 Wave와 함께합니다.
보통 재즈 중에서 브라질리언과 라틴 계열은 비교적 잘 안 듣는 편인데요.(개인적인 취향 ㅎㅎ)
하지만 그 중에서도 보사노바는 워낙 세계적으로 많은 팝 장르에 녹아 들어있기도 하고 봄이 되면 생각나는 장르로 자연스럽게 우리 곁에서 함께하는 음악이죠.
Wave는 그런 보사노바 음악 중에서도 일반 대중들도 들어봤을만한 유명한 곡입니다.
이 곡은 1967년에 A&M 레코드에서 발매된 브라질의 재즈 음악가 Antonio Carlos Jobim 의 다섯 번째 스튜디오 음반입니다.(대부분 Jobim이 작사, 작곡했습니다.) 미국 음악가들과 함께 미국에서 녹음된 이 음반은 빌보드 200 차트에서 114위, 재즈 음반 차트에서 5위로 정점을 찍었다고 하네요.
재즈 음반 커버사진은 사진작가 Pete Turner 가 맡았는데, 사이키델릭한 분위기로 태양을 가린 기린의 커버 사진으로 만들었습니다.
