Web3 is not a top-down design

The decentralized Internet is neither top-down nor bottom-up, but is connected in the middle. At Zee Prime, we believe that the future of Web3 will be linked to middleware.

Web3 can be a spontaneous product, not a top-down design. We imagined that different software was loosely bundled together to create Web3 from the top down. The future is flexible. The future is pluggable and composable. Middleware makes it possible to support the existence of a Web3 infrastructure Lego.

In order to better understand the future of middleware, we should consider that Web3 is unlikely to become an overall technology. "Blockchain Internet" will not be monopolized by Ethereum, Polkadot or Cosmos.

High gas fees and failed transactions have prevented non-Whale users from entering the "crypto Manhattan" for pricing, which obviously requires better infrastructure. But the real threat is much more subtle. Even if we accept these fees as a premium against real censorship, when most dapps run on a centralized infrastructure, what fees do we really pay?

DeFi is unstoppable and will lead the hyper-financialization movement in the next decade. But we missed the connection between the niche application and the previous global. We believe that if we want to move forward without compromising some of the core values ​​of the crypto movement, we need to improve the underlying technology. Currency Lego bricks should be powered by infrastructure Lego bricks.

Once the market realizes the demand for critical infrastructure components and allows for actual usage, the craze of Chainlink is just a signal that is coming. The oracle has become the first major wave, and now others will follow.
