Top China Tokyo Olympics Medal Earning

The Chinese contingent still leads the Tokyo 2020 Olympics medal standings with six gold. Indonesia, which added one silver, is in 21st position. Entering the second day of the Olympics, China has collected three gold, all of which were presented by female athletes on Saturday. And on Sunday China then added three more gold.

Two of them were won from the weightlifting branch. The first was in the 61 kg class, when Li Fabin, a lifter from China, managed to record a 313 kg lift. The details are 141 kg for the snap and 172 kg for the clean and jerk.

Then, in the men's 67 kg class, lifter Lijun Chen also managed to bring gold when he set an Olympic record with a lift of 187 kg in the clean and jerk type, with a total lift of 332 kg.

Meanwhile, the remaining gold was awarded by two Chinese female athletes, Hang Wan and Tingmao Shi, in the 3 meter synchronized diving sport. That means China already has six gold, one silver and four bronze.

There were a total of 11 medals won by China during the two days of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. In second place was host Japan with five gold and one silver. Of the five golds, three of them came from the sport of Judo.

In third place is the United States with four gold, two silver and four bronze, followed by South Korea with two gold and three bronze in fourth position. In fifth place was the Russian Olympic Team (ROC) with one gold, four silver and two bronze.

Meanwhile, Indonesia itself is in 19th position. After adding one silver medal from Eko Yuli Irawan in weightlifting, Indonesia now has two medals.
