Manchester City win 4-0 over Barnsley
Manchester City packed their second win in pre-season this time. The Citizens just beat Barnsley with a score of 4-0.
City played their second test match against Barnsley at the Etihad Stadium, Manchester, on Sunday morning WIB. The reigning Premier League champions appeared dominant.
City scored a goal since the 23rd minute. Samuel Edozie broke into Barnsley's goal, after continuing Riyad Mahrez's pass. Score 1-0 to City.
Goals increased for City in the 30th minute. Ben Knight, a young City player, made the score 2-0 after continuing Joao Cancelo's pass.
Four minutes later, it was Mahrez's turn to write his name on the scoreboard. The Algerian winger continued Benjamin Mendy's pass into City's third goal. The score becomes 3-0.
In the 41st minute, City got a penalty after Cole Palmer was fouled by Cauley Woodrow. However, Palmer failed to hit the ball from the spot. The 3-0 score lasted until the break.
In the second half, City still appear dominant. Pep Guardiola's troops are still pressing Barnsley.
After several attempts, City finally got the fourth goal in the 68th minute. Nathan Ake made it 4-0, after continuing Pablo Moreno's assist
In the remaining time of the game, no more goals were created. City continued to beat Barnsley 4-0 in their second pre-season game, having won the first by beating Preston North End 2-0 . best regards @irsantwin
