Journey to become an environmentalist

It was more than 10 years ago, when i was a student and asked to be a chief of cleaning department in school organization. I got responsibility to keep the school environment clean and persuade my friends and junior to stop littering. In the organization i learn responsibility and self development, but it only work for few months. It was hard to speak to others about something that they do not care about yet. So i resign in the middle of period (2006) and continue to focus on learning astronomy (because i do love astronomy).

Ten years later (2016), i decide to re-educate myself to learn more about environment and get more serious to protect our planet. I do it because i saw a lot of marine debris in aceh coastal when i went snorkling and skin diving with "Meugap Community" in Lampuuk Beach, Aceh Besar (Please Subscribe our youtube channel)

During those time until now, i always interest to read and get information about marine debris problem, animal death because of plastic, ect. With the community, i also join few event such as Beach Cleanup that hosted by Mapala Pertanian Unsyiah in Lhok Mata Ie (2016), Even that hosted by Collaboration On Communities in Ulee Cot and Ulee Lheue (2017), and the even that hosted by Ocean Dive Community (2018).
