The crisp sound that two lifted, ice-cold shot glasses produce when they merrily connect is referred to as "ZZAN" in Korean. Now, when Koreans who are still young at heart raise their glasses and exclaim "Zzan!" it signifies "Cheers!"

Zzan, the debut restaurant of Darwin resident and Korean-born chef Bruce Shin, offers a wide selection of well chosen Korean and Japanese cuisine as well as a la carte BBQ, healthy eating, and fun with friends over fresh cocktails or Asian-style beer! The Deck Bar and Eva's Cafe in the Botanical Gardens, two award-winning neighbourhood restaurants, were formerly operated by Bruce.
