Recently, the popularity of ferrets as pets has been increasing. The color of the fur and its appearance, which resembles a cat, is one of the attractive factors for this animal.

Historically, ferrets have been used to hunt mice, rabbits, and moles. Ferrets became popular as pets in the United States in 1980. Ferrets belong to the Mustelidae family and are energetic and intelligent animals.

Sable Badger ,The sable civet is the most common type found in Indonesia. Its appearance is similar to a raccoon.

It has dark brown to brownish black guard hairs. The color of the sable coat is usually darker on the top and the undercoat is lighter and varies in color, from cream, white and even gold.

The sable ferret also has white fur on its face so it looks like it is wearing a mask. The sable ferret has a long, flexible body like other ferrets.

Pandan Civet In its scientific name, the pandan civet is called paradoxurus hermaphroditus.

The people of Central Java and East Java prefer to call it luwak, while the Sundanese people call it careuh.

This name is based on the fact that the civet cat emits the scent of pandan leaves which comes from glands on the underside of the male civet's tail.

Even though this animal's face looks fierce, if its owner is successful in approaching it (bonding), this ferret can become very spoiled and likes to be carried.

Moon Weasel, The characteristic feature of the moon civet is that its face is wider than other civets. Its body is dominated by black with a white tail tip. This type of moon civet is often found in East Asia and Southeast Asia.

Musang Rase The ferret with the Latin name Viverricula indica is known to have a distinctive body odor. Its body is predominantly reddish brown with a brown or reddish stripe from the tip of the head to the base of the tail. However, there is also a civet racee which is yellowish gray in color.

Root Civet ,This animal with the scientific name Arctogalidia trivirgata weighs 2.4 kg with a body length of 53 cm and a tail length of 58 cm. The root weasel has hair that is generally brown, while the head is dark gray to brown.
