Botanical Flower

Flowers in Latin are called flos. Flowers themselves can be said to be a means of sexual reproduction in flowering plants. In general, these flowers are found in the magnoliophyta or angiospermae division. These two divisions mean closed seed plants.

However, the majority of botanists say that a flower is a short piece of stem or branch that has several sets of specialized leaves. In other words, flowers are a mixture of leaves and stems which function to help a closed fertilization system.

Basically, plants really need flowers for reproduction. In the process of reproduction, flowers need animals to pollinate. To attract animals to help pollinate the flowers, the colors of the flowers are very bright.
