Basic explanation of how to raise free-range chickens

Most people think that raising free-range chickens is the same as free-range chickens. Even though there are differences in terms between free-range chickens and free-range chickens.

The term free-range chicken is used to refer to a type of chicken that is not a purebred, to differentiate it from a group of purebred chickens such as broiler chickens, egg-laying chickens. Free-range chickens are part of the free-range chicken group.

Other types of free-range chickens include Bangkok chickens, Pelung chickens, Arabian chickens, Kedu chickens, Dwarf chickens, Nunukan chickens and others.

Initially, village chicken farming was mostly done on a subsistence basis, aka just as a sideline. Free-range chickens are kept in yards using a free-range system, or released into the wild.

The purpose of raising free-range chickens is for meat because their egg production is relatively low.

As demand for free-range chickens, both meat and eggs, increases, many free-range chicken farms are now being cultivated semi-intensive and intensively. Village chickens are not only taken for meat, but many are egg-oriented.

For egg production, some farmers prefer other types of free-range chickens which have higher productivity. These include the types of Arabic chicken and Pocin chicken.

The characteristics of the eggs are similar to those of free-range chickens. For comparison, the egg productivity of free-range chickens only reaches 115 eggs per year, while Arabian chickens can reach 225 eggs per year.
