Through the implementation of the RGL, it enables cross-border travel for important business and official purposes between the two countries.

The PCA scheme will allow residents of Singapore and Malaysia who hold long-term immigration passes for business and employment purposes to enter the country to work.

For both schemes, eligible Malaysians and Singaporeans must comply with the COVID-19 prevention and public health measures agreed upon by both countries, including undergoing the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) smear test.

After a period of at least three consecutive months in the country where they work, they can return to their homeland for short-term leave.

They can then return to the country where they worked to continue their work for at least another three months in a row.

For detailed information, Malaysians and Singaporeans can access the links provided by the Malaysian Immigration Department and the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) Singapore on their respective websites.
