Lebanon blast: None of our troops were injured
No members of the Malaysian military were injured in an explosion in Lebanon on Tuesday evening.
The Commander of the Malaysian Armed Forces, General Tan Sri Affendi Buang, said the Malaysian Battalion 850-7 (MALBATT 850-7) peacekeeping force in Lebanon was not near Beirut Port.
The assignment in Lebanon was carried out by the MALBATT 850-7 peacekeepers who participated in the United Nations Interim Force (UNIFIL) mission for a year since October 1 last year.
