Of numerous commitments
Very easy, too busy
And finding time with you
Becomes almost impossible.
Yet I cherish your delightful company
And long to spend
Quality time
With you each day.
You must understand my dearest friend
This is not deliberate neglect
Or boredom with your love!
I am acutely aware
Of what you mean to me.
But can all my excuses
Diminish the seriousness of your view.
Of this one sided nature
Of our relationship?
Forgive me if I take
This relationship for granted
I shall make greater efforts,
To reciprocate your love
This is my resolve.
